Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists, operating within Bindi Enterprises since 2000, the studio is at the intersection between supported studios and Aboriginal Art Centres. The Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists studio provides a means for Indigenous artists living with disability to develop and receive recognition for their artistic practices. In turn, identity and culture can be upheld, with each painting an expression of self and connection to country, reflecting the life and surrounds of the region as seen, known and loved by the artists.

The Mwerre Anthurre Artists hail from communities across the Central Desert region – from Kaltukatjara (Docker River) to Yuendumu – yet most reside in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). Exhibited nationally, Bindi Mwerre Anthurre art is highly sought after by galleries and private collectors, for the distinctive way it captures the humour and essence of Central Australia.
