The Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) is a nationwide program, which aims to give tourism operators across Australia the ability to apply for ‘Australian Tourism Accreditation’ online and become an ‘Accredited Tourism Business’.

Accreditation provides both consumers and industry with an assurance that the accredited tourism business is committed to quality business practice and professionalism.

The primary focus is to ensure that the consistent standards of product and service delivery meet and, where possible, exceed the visitors’ expectations.

ATAP is applicable to all sectors of the tourism industry including, tour operators, accommodation, visitor centres, attractions and events.

The online program is a business development tool that assists tourism businesses to meet industry standards and to gain recognition for doing so. Templates, Samples, Case Studies and links are provided.

Fees start from $289 per annum, dependent on the size of your business.

Sign up now to register your interest. You will then be provided with fees and a login, so you can commence your accreditation application and access the development tools.

Additional accreditation is also available through ATAP in different states.
